How to wind down after a long day

How's your day so far? Let’s put aside all bads, the negativity, and end it on a good note. Today, we shall focus on pampering ourselves cause we deserve it.


1. Take a long shower

After a long day, all we need is a long warm shower to let go of all the tension. I also use this time as an opportunity to de-stress and take a break from school, work and basically your digital screens.


2. Prepare for tomorrow

Pick out an outfit, pack your bag for the next day. You will realize how much time you save the next morning! Ain’t nobody got time for a hectic morning ._.


3. Reflect on your day

It’s really important to always remember to ask yourself how you did for the day- what you’re grateful for, what made you really happy and what made you upset. Honestly, it can be anything, there’s no formula or a specific way you have to do it. You do you <3


4. Clear your mind

It’s late, you’ve gone through a whole day, your mind is probably so tensed and tired by now. So grab a book or catch up on your favourite movie/show and light a candle. Or you can even do some yoga to reduce the tension and stress you have physically and mentally.


5. Prepare for bed

Switch on your night light, get into your comfy pajamas and maybe a calm and relaxing instrumental playlist and have a goodnight sleep!
