How to be a ‘Morning Person’?

Have a morning self-care routine to look forward to! As much as it sounds like a hassle or a little too extra, I assure you that it’ll help you so much~

Morning self care routine

Let's all start the day on a positive note. Tell yourself something you're grateful for. Get up, open that window and let that beautiful ray of vitamin D hit you.

1. Wash up and get ready

This is the most important step for you to conquer the day~ Brush your teeth, do your skincare routine, put on make-up if you want to.

Play some music between these steps! Music helps you to relax and release stress. ♫꒰・◡・๑꒱

We’ve put together a Spotify playlist that you can listen to when you're stressed, anxious or when you need a lil bit of zen and motivation. Listen to it while reading today’s blog on morning self care routine too^^.

2. Make your bed

It’s all about starting off with completing a small task. To me, making my bed marks the start of the day. Seeing how neat my bed is definitely brightens up my mood a whole lot more because I feel like I’ve taken the hardest step which is to get out of bed. Warning: Do not lie back down, it's a trap.

3. Drink a cup of water

After hours of sleep, your body needs to rehydrate. Drink a cup of water and get freshen up! Water is actually the best way to remove toxins in your body and for a GLOWING skin. Who doesn't want that right?

4. Have breakfast

As what people always say, breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Not only it gives you the energy you need to start your day, it also starts your metabolism, allowing you to burn more calories throughout the day~

5 Pick out an outfit

How am I feeling today? Do I want to stay comfy today or do I feel like dressing up? Ask yourself those questions when putting together an outfit. If you want to be comfy, go ahead, grab some sweats and t-shirt. You don’t have to dress up to feel cute, you feel good when you listen to yourself.

Bonus:

If you have extra time on that day, journal. Write something you’re grateful for, your feelings etc. There is no template on how to journal, you do you <3 You’ll realize how this step contributes so much to your overall mindspace for the day.

Let’s try doing dis for a couple of days and you’ll realise waking up isn’t dat much of a torture. Remember that with the new day comes new strength and thoughts.

~ Sending you unlimited positivity ✨
